Robots2U aspiration is to motivate young learners to acquire knowledge in a fun "learn by doing" way. Our teaching approach is based on LEGO® Education 4C learning approach which is specially developed by experience educators. Using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robotic Education Kit, students can build their own robot models and investigate how things work through fun projects. By learning while experimenting, students will find it engaging and have fun doing it and wanting to learn more. Witnessing how things actually works will also help them to retain the learning better. |

The LEGO® 4C Learning Approach comprises of four phases namely, Construct, Connect, Contemplate and Continue. Each phase will build on to the next to allow young learners to progress easily. | ||

ConnectLessons will start by relating the purpose of learning with real-life example to capture the interest of students. Interactive media is used to help students to be more engaged and focused.
Construct
The fun begins here because every lesson involves a
building activity. Students will work in small teams to design,
construct, program and test their robotics models, engaging both hands
and minds to solve a given task. They will investigate and observe how
each mechanism works. ContemplateIn this phase, students will reflect what they have learnt based on what they have constructed and programmed. They are given the opportunity to share their learning and ideas through the process of "questions and answers". Quizzes will also be given to help them retain the learning better.
ContinueFinally, students are encouraged to improve and add features to their models. This allows them to enter a positive learning spiral, in which they take on increasingly difficult challenges. |
