Using the NXT brick, the Colour Sensor is able to perform three unique functions. It acts as a Colour Sensor distinguishing between six colours; it works as a Light Sensor detecting light intensities, both reflected light and ambient light; and it works as a Colour Lamp, emitting red, green or blue light.

You will need a connector cable, which is included in the 9797 Base Set.
